What is CBD?

  • CBD is a hemp-based compound that has significant health benefits, but does not make people feel "stoned or high". This is because CBD is sourced from commercial hemp that generally has only trace levels of THC. Though hemp and marijuana come from the same family, they are very different plants! Every batch of our CBD is tested for its THC content to insure that the our customers get all of the benefits, but none of the psychoactive effects.

Will this get me high?

  • No. Every batch of our CBD is tested for its THC content to insure that the our customers get all of the benefits, but none of the psychoactive effects.

What is the best method of use?

  • Everyone is different in how their body responds to these products.  So, there is no single answer to this question. What we CAN say is that most of our customers prefer to start with Drops, then, branching out from there.  The drops are typically the easiest to determine serving sizes. And, the drops, when flavored tend to taste good. And, the extract doesn’t typically taste very good and is difficult to measure a particular dose.
What works best for YOU, is truly a personal thing.  Some people respond well to drops. Some people respond very well to other methods, but see little results when ingesting it through drops.  Its all a trial and error thing that you simply have to test for yourself to find that “single best way”.

How long does it take to work?

  • For most users, when taking the recommended dosage it generally only takes about 20-30 minutes for it take effect.

Will I fail a drug test?

  • As a broad-spectrum cannabinoid extract, in addition to cannabidiol (CBD) and more than 80 other cannabinoids in hemp, Charlotte’s Web may contain a trace amount of the cannabinoid THC, less than .3%. Much like the consumption of poppy seeds may lead to a positive drug test for opioids, the consumption of certain hemp products may lead to a positive drug test for tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is inherently present in trace amounts in hemp plants. The legal limit of THC in hemp is no more than 0.3%. It’s important to understand that the underlying science behind the conversion of certain cannabinoids to other related cannabinoids when consumed is not yet fully understood. If you are subject to drug testing we strongly suggest consulting your health care provider before consuming any hemp products because individual biochemistry, the potential for the conversion of cannabinoids, and the possibility of trace, but legal, amounts of THC inherent in hemp products are all factors to consider.
